Sambrook's Brewery's Beer By The River Festival in Morden

On Saturday 30th August Sambrook's Brewery is hosting its annual Beer By The River festival, at Morden Hall Park in Morden, right at the bottom of the Northern Line.  Expect beer, music, and lots of food...

"Sambrook’s is delighted to announce the return of Beer by the River, its annual birthday celebration, on Saturday 30 August at the National Trust’s Morden Hall Park.  Following its success in 2013, Sambrook’s and the National Trust have made the event bigger and better – more music, more food and more beer! This year’s event will continue our celebration of beer, food and music, with local food producers, entertainers and craft brewers from around the UK. The event will run from 12pm to 11pm.
Throughout the day, there will be a whole host of live acts curated by Scott Illman and Tony Moore, who have a history of running successful music events and festivals in South London. ‘Kit Rice’ will kick off the evening show and the very upbeat ‘Hannah Wildes’ will be closing.
There will be Locally sourced food, including seafood and vegetarian options from the ever popular Clapham-based sustainable fish restaurant, FishClub. Organic British beef burgers from The Burger Boys and Pizzarova will be on site selling delicious pizzas from the back of their Land Rover!
There will be lots to keep families entertained throughout the day including vintage fairground rides, bouncy castles and a city farm. There will also be sweet treats including candy floss, ice cream and cupcakes.
During the day, Sambrook’s will be serving their range of award-winning ales to revelers, including their full range of cask ales. As a nod towards other new and established brewers who have helped Sambrook’s along their 6 year journey, a range of carefully selected guest beers will be available for guests (over the age of 18) to try."
