AMooseBush's One Night Pop-up at Pip's Dish in Islington

AMooseBush recently won We Are Pop-up's competition to host a pop-up restaurant (along with Pisco Fuego and Zoe's Ghana Kitchen) at the Pip's Dish space in Islington.  It's going to be Italian  regional cuisine, on Tuesday 21st May, and costs £31 per head, with BYOB.

"FAMooseBush are very excited to announce that they will be taking part in the PopUp Challenge Event 2013 hosted by We Are Pop Up and PipsDish.
We are a foursome of family members consisting of Robert, Fred, Cara and Rob who are on a singular mission to champion the regional Italian dishes that have been handed down the family through Nonna Bianca and Nonno Giuseppe.
The north and south of Italy famously can't agree on how anything should be cooked and having a grandparent from each side certainly caused some fireworks in the kitchen. Now that we kids are all grown up, its our turn to make the same sparks fly as we argue about the best way to cook the artichokes.
Please join us on Tuesday 21st May for an evening of good old fashioned Italian regional cooking served.... well, not quite like mamma used to make but BETTER.
Just don't tell Nonna!"

When - Tuesday 21st May

Where - 133B Upper Street, N1 1QP

Pisco Fuego's One Night Pop-up at Pip's Dish in Islington

Pisco Fuego recently won We Are Pop-up's competition (along with AMooseBush and Zoe's Ghana Kitchen) to host a pop-up restaurant at the Pip's Dish space in Islington.  It's a Latin American experience, similar to their two nights in Clapton in Mid May, and costs £35 per head, with BYOB.

"Firstly, we feel very grateful to have been named one of the winners of this challenge and look forward to surprising all with our exquisite dining experience.
Inspired by the cuisine and culture of Buenos Aries, Mexico City, Santiago and Lima, Cult Events presents Pisco Fuego, a pop up drinking and dining experience that brings authentic Latin American zing, zest and charcoal grilled goodness to the streets of London.
We’ve created an immersive experience that mixes classic asado barbecue cookery with modern street art and live music, all served in a beautifully set-designed venue. Think spit roasted pork, salsa verde, pisco sours and acoustic guitars around an open fire. (Microwaved burritos and Ricky Martin's greatest hits are strictly off the menu).
Cult Event’s Chef Ian Ballantyne (http://ian-ballantyne.blogspot.co.uk/), renowned for his Supper Club ‘The Candlestick Maker’ and the team bring years of experience in gastronomy, mixology and bespoke event design to this project, as well as an abiding passion for Latin American culture. Most of our team have travelled widely in the region, and our aim from the outset was to create an event that would live up to our own memories of nights out there, stocked with colour, flavour and keep-the-band-playing-till-dawn energy.
Mr. Penfold (www.mrpenfold.com) and other internationally acclaimed street artists are also in collaboration with Pisco Fuego. With Latin American inspired pieces from Mr Penfold, we intend to showcase the artists work alongside a dining experience that will leave all senses reeling."

When - Wednesday 22nd May

Where - 133B Upper Street, N1 1QP
