The Experience Cinema, which popped-up before Christmas at The Roundhouse, is back for Valentine's week with four romantic films.
"Experience Cinema is spreading the love this Valentine's with a heart pounding four days of classic movies in the beautiful marriage palace that is The Round Chapel, Hackney.
On the big day itself (thats Valentine's Day fella's, not the FA Cup!) we have the ultimate love story with Baz Luhrmann's modern take on Shakespeare's famous play with the phenomenal 'Romeo + Juliet'.
The following evening is the most fitting of Church movies with the British classic 'Four Weddings and a Funeral'. Everyone's favourite dithering Englishman Hugh Grant and American beauty Andie MacDowell star in this laugh out loud comedy about a committed bachelor who must consider the notion that he may have discovered love.
On Thursday 16th we present one of the greatest films ever made, and celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, with the 1942 romantic classic 'Casablanca'. It may not be Paris but if you treat your beau to this 'You'll always have Hackney'! Just needs a little bit of imagination!
Finally, no one puts baby in the corner this Valentine's as we finish our love loaded week on Friday 17th with the one and only 'Dirty Dancing'. We're sure the Swayze massive will be out in force, and we expect dancing in the aisles nonetheless!"
