- Sumptuous Hand Made Food"

"Hand Made Food was set up by Chef Fergus Clague in 1994 in a shop on his home turf of south-east London.
The meat, veg and fruit are from independent farmers in south east England – cutting down food miles.  We know where our meat comes-we buy straight from farmers who practice good animal husbandry. We avoid waste. People often over order and we help them to match quantities to numbers.  We often take any leftovers (if we do have them) to hostels for the homeless. Using eco paint in the shop, recycling as much as we can and using take away containers that are biodegradable protein (so you can compost them)- are just some of the things we are doing to be green."
