The National Theatre's Propstore Pop-up Cafe-Bar on the South Bank


The National Theatre has opened a pop-up diner outside its building, made of old scenery and sets from its productions, and filled with some favourite props, including a goose puppet from War Horse, some vintage light fittings from She Stoops to Conquer, and the crocodile from Peter Pan.

"We're open every day from noon, serving a selection of delicious street food, Meantime draught beer, Sipsmith spirits and English wines. Pull up a chair inside, or at one of our riverside tables, or join us on Fridays and Saturdays for DJs and live music until 2am.

Pulled Pork Sandwich, BBQ sauce, coleslaw  £4
Beetroot falafel pita, spicy riata  £3.50
Beef & feta meatballs, spicy tomato sauce  £4
Al Halabi Lamb kebabs with labna  £4.50
Boxed salad of the day  £3.50
Food served between noon and 9.30pm"
