Agency-based Supper Club Tavolone have announced their next monthly event - a four course dinner with food supplied by Marky Market.
"For the next iteration of our big table dinner - Tavolone downstairs at Mother - we have teamed up with Marky Market to stay true to our motto 'we only cook with the best ingredients we can get' . He will be our man at the market. He will be at four in the morning at Smithfield standing next to to the suppliers for some of the best restaurants in town and he knows what's good.
Marky will source delicious Welsh lamb shoulder from Brecon Beacons, which our Christiano will cook according to the St John's food bible (which means marinating the meat for a day and for another day to super slow braise it). Christiano learnt the tricks for this while toiling at Canteen, which is run by Fergus Hendersons wife. The starter of leeks, white beans is another St John's concoction, which our guests enjoyed on many occasions. There will also be homemade Vanilla Ice Cream and a surprise summer cocktail.
