The Art of Dining's Lazy Lunch in Dalston

The Art of Dining are back - this time with two weekends of lunching on a (hopefully) sunny roof in Dalston.

"In the spirit of summer, the menu at The Lazy Lunch will be all you could hope for from a gourmet picnic basket, with twists and surprises thrown in. Chef Ellen Parr is designing a five course menu inspired by a Southern American Picnic. Expect: bean, bacon and molasses soup served in an American biscuit bowl, Moroccan style slaw, pickles and pulled lamb; burnt sweet corn ice-cream served from an old fashioned ice cream cart. To complete the dining experience, food will be served in an array of novel containers, such as self assembled cake stands, envelopes and tupperware. Drinks are included in the price and supplied by Background Bars
The Setting - Located on The Dalston Roof Park over looking London's skyline. Guests will climb several flights of stairs until they reach the beautiful garden at the top. You will find veg and flowers growing around you and shelter in case it rains!
The Set Design - Continuing the Art of Dining ethos The Lazy Lunch will be a bespoke design providing an entertaining and immersive picnic lunch experience; think picnic rugs, newspapers, games, Mills and Boon books with corners folded down on the best pages! And instructions of how and when to eat each course... plenty of entertainment in your picnic basket to last your 4 hour long lunch."
