The Lane Pop-up Shop off Walworth Road SE17

The Lane is a new pop-up shop in East Street, off the Walworth Road, funded by the Peabody Trust and Southwark Council.  It's in the same spot as the Spark Pop-up Shop from earlier this year, and like Spark is an inspiring project trying to do something for the community and local entrepreneurs.

"For the last 3 weeks a group of enthusiastic entrepreneurs have put together a pop up shop project. It will offer wardrobe basics for men and women along with accessories and jewellery. There is an opportunity to customise clothing too.
Funded by Peabody Trust and Southwark Council the charity Creation Trust have allowed a group of budding entrepreneurs to develop this exciting Pop Up Shop.
The aim to inject fresh vibes and cutting edge fashion into East Street Market.
Formally know as East Lane and The Lane East Street market was a place known for it's vibrant market. Now offering fruit, veg, fish, homewares, jewellery, CD's, toys, shoes and much more at bargin prices the market is long due an investment of regeneration to offer the next generation a street to be proud of."
