Pop-up Vintage Fairs have announced a special event at their regular '3rd Saturday of the month' appearance at Old Spitalfields Market - a vintage fashion show. Plus there will also be lots of traders there to sell you vintage wares.
"POP UP VINTAGE FAIRS LONDON will be holding a special Vintage Fashion Show at Old Spitalfields Market on Saturday 17th November. Curated by vintage experts Ree Ree Rockette, Jayne J Read, Alison Tang, Betty Leopard and Sarah Ruppin and presented by Fabulous Miss K, a stylist specializing in vintage fashion.
Their Pop Up Vintage Market will be open as usual, offering a variety of vintage delights from designer & affordable ladies & men’s fashion, to vintage jewellery, accessories, homeware, teasets, kitchenalia, antiques, vintage posters, collectables and curios.
The models on the catwalk will be showing ladies & menswear from the 1930s right up to the 1990s handpicked by the vintage curators from their chosen vintage traders. Hair & Makeup experts Candy Pout will be styling the models’ looks to complement the eras. Expect to see anything from 1930s flapper dresses to 1960s mini-skirts!
In between the shows Swing Patrol will be dancing on stage and you can even join in! Dancing includes demonstrations of Lindy Hop, Jive & Swing. These guys will have you dancing in the aisles!
Vintage traders showing on the catwalk include Pret A Vintage, Vintage Glitz N Bitz, Rehab Vintage, Ikkonik Vintage Menswear, Rock on Ruby Vintage & Forsaken Dreams Vintage."
