Burns' Night Supper with The Foragers in Cambridge Heath

The Foragers have just announced a Burns' Night Supper on Thursday 24th January; see below for the full menu, with vegetarian haggis (which is also delicious) as an option.

"Join us in East London for a traditional supper in honour of the celebrated poet robbie Burns. Chefs from The Foragers will whip up a traditional Scottish three-course feast with the essential components of Whiskey, Haggis, and Neeps and Tatties. You're invited to bring along your own booze with no corkage to pay - so you can get at drunk as Burns would have liked with no charge to your bill - that's austerity for you.
We welcome kilts, and sporrans, and ghillie brogues.
In true traditional style we're inviting The Queen of New Wave Storytellers,  Rachel Rose Reid along to grace us with her own fair words and tell us all a bit about Robbie Burns himself  - Having been involved with The Royal Shakespeare Company, BBC Radio 3, and Camden roundhouse Experimental Choir, it's a real honour to have Rachel Rose Reid join us.f. t. listen.
We'll follow dinner with music from Adam Beattie and Alastair Caplin, fellow Scots living in London, where they met in 2011 and began a successful musical collaboration. They play a mixture of songs including originals by Adam, and tunes including originals by Ali. The material selected has its roots in traditional Scottish and Irish music, which they both grew up with. listen.
