Love Ur Look, who popped up last year in Herne Hill, have opened a pop-up shop in Forest Hill, SE23
"Love Ur Look is an ethical fashion label run by stylist Ronke Fashola who sources upcycled fabrics and trims from salvage markets across India, supporting local tradesmen and craftspeople by paying fair prices for items created in excellent working conditions.Ronke designs and cuts her patterns to create each collection,
transforming wonderful fabrics into vintage style apparel. Collections are based heavily on 1940s, 1950s and 1960s lines for flattering feminine womanswear.
Love Ur Look is located at SEE Boutique, the fourth Pop Up Shop from the SEE3 Town Team; the Portas Pilot for South East London covering the areas Sydenham, Kirkdale and Forest Hill (www.see3.co.uk).
Love Ur Look was recently featured by Look magazine as the ‘label to watch’ and ranges have also appeared in Vintage Life, Living South, Hampstead Life, Highgate Magazine and been seen modeled by a fan in the Telegraph! Ronke has sold at Spitalfields market alongside VV Brown and been featured in various blogs such as Oxfam’s ethical fashion blog, Being Little, Frock Friday and Vixen Vintage.
Ronke has worked as a fashion buyer for many years in companies such as New Look, Tammy, BHS and sold to boutiques across London. An expert stylist, she also offers Stylizers — a styling service with personal shopping experience, wardrobe and colour consultations, makeovers, fashion events, vintage hairstyling sessions and even advice on transforming tired items of clothing lurking at the back of your wardrobe! Ronke is also happy to share her experience with up-and-coming stylists by providing a workshop on how to set up your own styling business. Workshops are a completely affordable £8 each and are broken down on the website with full booking details."
When – open now until 14th March (although likely to extend), Tuesdays to Fridays between 11am - 7pm; and Saturday and Sunday between 11am – 6pm.
