Like fragrances? & cocktails? Then this is the event for you, planned as part of this year's Chelsea Fringe, and taking place in Mayfair.
"On Tuesday 21 May, The athenaeum Hotel will be participating in the 'Chelsea Fringe' and hosting a multi-sensory event on scent, inspired by the hotel's iconic Living Wall, with perfume specialist Lila Das Gupta and landscape architect Daniel Bell. The evening talk will lead on scent and beautiful perfumes that capture the fragrance of nature. Daniel Bell, who maintains the hotel's spectacular Living Wall, will discuss the secrets behind the growing trend for urban green walls and reveal the surprising abundance of fragrant plants such as jasmine, lavender and thyme that flourish on this unique London landmark.
The 'Violet Mist' Martini and 'Secret Garden' cocktail, the specially created floral cocktails inspired by the new plants that have been recently introduced onto the Living Wall, will be served at the talk and for the duration of RHS Chelsea Flower Show and The Chelsea Fringe at The athenaeum's Whisky Bar."
