Asado are hosting a seven course 'neck to knee' dinner as part of Grub Club's Nose to Tail season in Camden this week, on Weds 12th and Thurs 13th. Each course comes with 100ml of wine, specially paired.
"A celebration of the beast we eat during Nose to Tail fortnight, and saying farewell to The Crown and Goose (one hell of a North London institution).
We will be taking you on a tasty, lamby journey through the noble and delicious sheep, your travel companions will be the best seasonal land and sea veg that we can get our paws on and some of the most interesting and lesser known wines our wine guys have managed to unearth for you!
The ticket price comprises not only 7 delicious courses BUT wine pairings for each course and one hell of a party (should you feel like a bit of a Wednesday night boogie!). While we provide 100ml of wine per course, should you feel a little parched you are welcome to buy more of the same wine by the glass or bottle from the bar and, because we don't want to deny you anything, the case (we will happily have this delivered to your home/ work address).
(EACH course is served with 100ml paired wine... that is a the equivalent of nearly a whole bottle of amazing wine through the night)
Wild garlic sweetbread popcorn- Confit tongue and green sauce- Bread and chimi-churi- Lamb crckling and mint sauce
Spring lamb salad (delicously prepared lamb with peppery Spring greens)
Liver and nettles (a crostini of liver venetianna and nettle salad)
Marsh and Sea (breast and heart, cockles, Cornish anchovies and sea veg)
A butchers block of best-end of lamb and sides
English sheeps cheeses
Lemon posset, lemon jelly, strawb meringue and fresh English strawberries n' cream"
