Beyond Pie & Mash at The Hill Station in Nunhead


On Saturday 8th February chef John Colston-Lynch brings a 3 course supper club based around the traditional favourite Pie & Mash to The Hill Station in Telegraph Hill / Peckham / Nunhead.  The menu below looks pretty amazing, and includes such intriguing delights as bacon crumble,  and rosemary meringue, along with the pie and mash.  Don't miss it!

"Beyond Private Dining and The Hill Station bring you good old fashioned London fayre of posh pie 'n mash with some molecular surprises, perfect for a chilly winter's evening to warm the cockles of your heart.
Using locally sourced ingredients award winning chef John Colston-Lynch brings 20 years experience and his creativity with food to The Hill Station (his local café).
The evening will unfold like a 3 ACT play with courses including: 
ACT 1 
Smoking potted jellied cockles
apple caviar
bacon crumble
ACT 2 
Beef cheek & onion pie
Served with creamed mash liquor espuma garden veg planted in
mushroom soil
ACT 3 
Poached rhubarb
rosemary meringue
cheesecake ice cream
And for vegetarians there is a full 3 course option with tempting dishes including Beetroot & Roquefort salad and walnut crumble and butternut squash, chickpea& spinach pie 
The 3 course set meal is £28 per head.  
Locally sourced British Beer (including Brockley's finest) and wonderful wines will be available to order on the evening."
