This Summer chef Matthew Phelps, founder of Funthyme, will be cooking a series of supper clubs at Spitalfields City Farm, off Brick Lane. So far there are 12 planned, in runs of three towards the end of May, June, July and August. Each event cost £35 per head, and each is BYOB, with an ice bucket provided for the drinks that you bring. "We're excited to announce our forth season of alfresco evening suppers at our own little urban oasis, Spitalfields City Farm.
Guests will enjoy a 'family style' three course meal including a BBQ'd meat or fish main course. We'll source ingredients directly from the farm for the rest of the menu where possible.
The farm has invested in a yurt so no more rain checks as we sadly experienced a few summers ago.
We have three blocks of dates this year, three in May, three in June, three in July and three in August.
The menu will change each month with the season. We'll announce full details of the May menu nearer the time once we know what's available at the farm."
