Kome LA Street Food's 3 Month Residency at Star of Kings in King's Cross

The Star of Kings in King's Cross has a new residency; Kome LA Street Food is taking over for 3 months, to run Monday - Saturday for lunch and dinner until August.  Kome had a hugely popular couple of nights at The Dolls House a while ago, so it's great that more people are able to try to food, which includes Kimchi Quesadillas, Bulgogi Fries, and lots of bowls like the one in the pic above.  Note that there's a launch party on Thurs 15th May!

"After hugely successful sell-out stints at The Dolls House in Hoxton, Kome is bringing a piece of LA to Kings Cross as it teams up with The Star of Kings for a three month residency starting on 7th of May 2014.
Founded by three old friends, Kome takes inspiration from LA street vendors, who serve up dishes with origins in countries as diverse as Korea, Mexico, Japan and Peru but to name a few. Like many a modern metropolis, Los Angeles is home to a melting pot of ethnic groups and influences and the street food community reflects this. Founding member Jack Davidson, heads back and forth to LA, his second home, on a regular basis searching for inspiration.
Kome’s residency at the Star of King’s will serve up some of the old classics - Kimchi Quesadillas, Bulgogi Fries and Mochi Ice-cream Balls – as well as some notable additions such as the Chili Cheese Curds, Nam Jim Slaw and our unique Antique salad.
Davidson says: ‘what Kome does best is create unique flavor combinations designed to stimulate each taste bud at affordable prices.'"
