Experimental chefs, and stalwarts of the London pop-up scene Banch and Shock are cooking at four o nine in Clapham North on Wednesday 23rd July. Blanch and Shock are serving a five course tasting menu, with such treats as crab tart and smoked mutton, and tomatoes, strawberries and parsley - full menu here. It's going to be pretty special!
"We are delighted that the next Pop Up Chef will be Blanch & Shock, cooking up a storm in our four o nine kitchen.
Blanch & Shock Food Design make creative food projects and provide bespoke catering. They use food to explore and illustrate ideas, focusing on the British palette of ingredients.
Mike Knowlden & Josh Pollen are based in South London, they design food for diverse events and projects across the UK and beyond. These have included concept-based canapé services, multi-course dinners, tasting experiences and edible installations, pop-up restaurants and singular artistic projects.
They will be taking over our kitchen for one evening."
