Le Bun's Weekend Brunch at The Old Bengal Bar near Liverpool Street

Le Bun has announced a one month weekend brunch residency at The Old Bengal Bar in New Street, 2 mins from Liverpool Street station, serving signature dishes like Le Bisque Mac, Le Benedict and Le Duck Frites - think French flavours with an American twist..

"This October, luxury French-American street food duo, Le Bun, are taking a month-long residency at Old Bengal Warehouse and launching an all-day brunch experience, ‘Le Brunch’, to tie in with the Warehouse’s new Weekend Club concept.
Available at Old Bengal Bar and New Street Grill every Saturday and Sunday, Le Bun will join head chef Barry Macmillan and his team in the kitchen, serving their brand new ‘Le Brunch’ creations alongside their signature dishes. Brunch will be available every Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 4pm alongside New Street Grill’s classic British brunch menu, offering brunch in a bun with Le Benedict Bun (maple bacon, poached egg, hollandaise and an asparagus salad), Le Eggs Royale Bun (Mariage Freres smoked salmon, spinach, poached egg and citrus hollandaise) and bun-free Truffles ‘n’ Waffles (confit Southern-fried chicken, shaved winter truffles, house waffles, truffle butter and rosemary maple syrup) to name a few. The iconic Le Bourguignon Bun (slow-and-low beef short-ib with bourguignon glaze, bacon salt, truffle mayo and champagne slaw) will also be on the menu alongside other Le Bun favourites.
Old Bengal Warehouse Wine Manager Alexis Meszoly has put together a bun-friendly list of French and American wine, including a glass of Bordeaux at £6 and a Californian Zinfandel at £6.50. Additionally, Le Bun worked closely with Old Bengal Bar Manager Milos Popovic to put their unique French take on classic American cocktails, producing a spin on a brunch favourite, Le Bloody Marie, amongst others, all perfect for celebrating the weekend.
Diners can expect a full Le Brunch experience at Old Bengal Warehouse, including buns, beverages and traditional board games, with Le Bun’s resident DJ taking to the decks to provide the ideal soundtrack to drink and dine to. This is part of a new weekend schedule at the East London warehouse – the Weekend Club – which will see a range of collaborations, events and special menus across Old Bengal Bar, New Street Grill and Fish Market to create the perfect environment to while away the weekend. Launching with Le Bun’s ‘Le Brunch’, Old Bengal Warehouse’s Weekend Club will be the perfect place for lazy weekend brunchers, street food fans and cocktail connoisseurs alike."
