The Broadway Market Taste Sessions Sunday Lunch with Fin & Flounder

From Sunday 29th March there wil be a new regular 'Broadway Market Taste Sessions' lunch in Broadway Market, E8, calling on the best of the food talent that the market has.  First up is fishmonger Fin & Flounder, who are putting on a 7 course menu for £40 in the nearby butcher's shop Hill & Szrok.  What a treat!

"Broadway Market is proud to announce the launch of the ‘Broadway Market Taste Sessions’ showcasing the vast array of food talent on offer; from wild game, sustainablefish, organic fruit and vegetables to artisan breads, cakes and cheeses not to mention an unparalleled selection of international delights and will use their produce to form and shape each weeks exquisite three course menu.
Not only are we showcasing the fantastic food available on Broadway Market, we aim to work with some of London’s most talented and creative young chefs, giving them a platform to showoff their skills. 
This month’s menu will be on 29th March (3pm), curated by sustainable fishmongers Fin & Flounder; who will be on hand to talk diners through their produce, mapping the journey to the plate.
Having arrived on Broadway Market seven years ago, Fin and Flounder’s concept of modernizing and bringing back your local fishmonger has opened locals’ eyes to the delights of eating fresh fish.
Best known for their passion for sustainability, they understand peoples concern with dwindling fish stocks and therefore only source the freshest fish from sustainable boats. All wild fish is from managed stocks to insure it does not affect the integrity of stocks. All farmed fish is fully traceable and of course sustainable fishing methods are a top priority.
The meal will be hosted at Hill & Szrok, where they combine the very best of the traditional butcher with a 21st Century Cookshop. Cooking what they sell and selling what they cook.  By day a traditional butcher specialising in free range and organic meats from small farms around England, by night it’s transformed into an intimate local restaurant."
