The Oshun Pop-up Cafe, Selling Açaí Bowls, in Shoreditch

This Easter Sunday 5th April The Oshun Cafe opens in Shoreditch, in the same spot as the Porridge Cafe in March.  It will be the first dedicated cafe to sell Açaí berry bowls, and will be open daily until Monday 27th April.

"The Oshun Café, London’s first ever Açaí bowl pop-up, will officially open on April 8 in Shoreditch, to become the home of premium-grade Açaí berry bowls to Londoners, for one month.
A selection of four different freshly made Açaí berry bowls will be ready to eat in or takeaway at just £6.00. The key signature serves include the Oshun Native with Açaí, banana and honey. The Oshun Tang – which as the name suggests is a zesty and refreshing pick me-up. The Oshun Kong – filled with flavours from the orient with, banana, lemongrass, ginger, coriander and honey. And last but definitely not least, the Oshun Maya – Açaí berries, raw cacao, cinnamon, orange and avocado.
A selection of suggested toppings will be available if you wish to tinge your bowl with extra nutty, fruity, crunchy wisdom. The berry bowls are perfect for breakfast, post-gym boosts or as an alternative to cakes in the afternoon. In Brazil, Açaí berry bowls are eaten around the clock, so there is never a wrong time to satisfy your craving.
Each dish contains a large portion of Especial Grade Açaí Pulp, certified by the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture as the top graded pulp, with the highest proportion of Açaí solids. The naturally occurring antioxidants, manganese and Omega 3 enables each Açaí bowl to nourish your cells.
The Oshun Café has also developed a unique range of Açaí Smoothie Bags and Sorbet Pots which will be available in food retailers in the near future. Adding an extra layer of cultural vibrancy, the café has worked with leading musical talents to blend café mixes which translate the experience into sound. Look forward to the likes of Mr. Assister from 1-800 dinosaur and the delectable sounds from Tribes London. Leading creatives Jamie Josef Fry, Stevie Anderson, Andy Malone and Helen Sales have also transformed the origins of the ingredients and flavours into visual and physical wonders to complete a multi-sensory experience."
