The new streetfood stars to take over the kitchen at The King & Co in Clapham are Vinn Goute, serving up food and flavours from the Seychelles. Expect to eat things like curried octopus, grilled fish, and chunky pumpkin salad, as well as a changing selection of specials. I've loved each of the kitchen takeovers at The King & Co - and Vinn Goute is certain to keep up the very high standard. Open seven days a week - no excuses no to go!
Visitors to Vinn Goute's two month Seychelles kitchen takeover will experience the full flavour of these unique Indian Ocean islands, with a special new menu of delicious authentic delicacies. Much-loved streetfood signature dishes Oh So Tasty Curried Goat and Octopus Coconut Curry sit alongside refreshing Grilled Fish of the Day, colourful sides including “Saffran” Rice and Chunky Pumpkin Salad, and weekly specials.
Vinn Goute’s three core values of food, family and country are celebrated in their exclusive weekend Tropikal Brunch Wraps: a family-size portion of “make your own” tortilla wrap with scrumptious fillings such as trevally strips and spicy tropikal chicken plus rice, homemade kreol sauce and chilli mayo. Addictive new bar snacks like Spicy Chilli Balls and Plantain Chips are the ideal partner for The King & Co’s diverse selection of craft beers as long Summer days shift into long Summer nights.
Since its launch last September, The King & Co has earned its reputation as a pub with a difference. Located just moments away from the main drag of Clapham Common, this relaxed independent freehouse showcases an extensive lineup of interesting craft beers, wines and spirits, all carefully curated and served with a smile by pub owner Anthony Gunson and his enthusiastic bar team."
