Good Juju Bar for Smoothies on Shoreditch High Steet

A pop-up smoothie bar, the Good Juju Bar, has opened at 190 Shoreditch High Street.  Open daily, it'll be open until at least 27th July and maybe later.  Go and taste Mara and Monica's tasty and nutrient-packed smoothies!

"All the goodness of summer can be found in one delicious sip at Shoreditch High Street’s latest  pop up.  On 27 June 2015 Good Juju Bar launched, with a mission to make Londoners feel more light and energized. Their brightly coloured arsenal is an array of flavoursome, nutrient-pack smoothies made of 100% natural, raw fruit and veg.
The Good Juju Bar founder Mara Calvi and her associate Monica Brunello say their smoothies are inspired by “nutrition freaks and Reiki master-types” who are passionate about alternative health and lifestyle options.  In reality, they are for anyone who needs an energy boost, from sporty types to busy mums to office workers.
“We searched for pure, healthy smoothies and juices that would nourish the body with a surge of fresh natural fruits and vegetables.” says Calvi, “We’ve been looking for over a year, but couldn’t find exactly what we wanted, so we decided to create our own brand.  That’s how Good Juju Bar was born.”
The smoothie bar is based at 190 Shoreditch High Street, within Glassworks Studios, an independent fashion label with shops in Shoreditch and Dalston.  When Glassworks welcomed Good Juju Bar to the fold, the two business owners found they had a lot in common.  Each came from a career in the financial sector, and took a different path to create a small batch, high quality brand.
Good Juju Bar loves to offer smoothies that excite, so each recipe has an added twist.  Popular choices include refreshing beetroot, apple, orange and basil, as well as a lush green smoothie with a pinch of red pepper chili or pure coconut flesh. The bar also offers a delicious raw pudding.  There are plans to expand the menu to include salads and other desserts.
The ingredients in all Good Juju Bar smoothies have been carefully selected to provide nutrients needed for the body to function at its full potential.  When there isn’t time for a full meal, they offer a tasty alternative for people on the go.  Customers can leave their flavour choice to chance by spinning a Chakra wheel, where each colours matches a different smoothie."
