The 'Bone Tea' 4 Month Pop-up Broth Bar in Westbourne Park

Now open in Westbourne Park Road is the new Bone Tea pop-up 'broth' bar.  it's open Monday - Thusday only, and serves broth to drink, plus food like glazed chicken wings, pulled pork buns and mushrooms on toast.  It's open until the end of October, and you enter through the Bumpkin restaurant at 162 Ledbury Road.

"Open Monday – Thursday from 5pm until late and serving 30 covers, this pop up will run until the end of October. The bar and restaurant aim to be as sustainable as possible with a small selection of dishes available using the products that eventually are made into the quality broth.
The restaurant is a test lab to explore the reception of broths as a possible grab and go offering in the capital with Bone Tea shops likely to appear later in the year.
Already long established in Asia and more recently well received in New York, broths are popular partly due to the health benefits such as low sodium, being gluten and dairy free and having a stable metabolising effect. Broth Bar Lab uses only GMO free products, Cornish Grass fed Beef and Pork and Chicken sourced from the Cotswolds. The broth is made by cooking the stock at a low temperature and for a prolonged period that releases more nutrients and is the perfect temperature for infusing the aromatic ingredients.
Dishes include Meat Marmalade (£9), Bone Tea Glazed Chicken Wings (£6), Pulled Pork or Beef Bun (£9/ £9.50) and Bone Tea Fruit Scones with Clotted Cream (£6). These dishes form the basis of the broths available: Beef (£4.50), Pork (£4), Chicken (£3.50), Mushroom (£3) and Fruit (£3). These are served with bread and condiments and are available to eat in or take-away. One litre quantities of broth are also available to take-out and enjoy at home.
There will also be an option of two red and white wines as well as 1 rosé, sweet and sparkling  - all natural and supplied by Dynamic Vines in-keeping with the Lab’s ethos of using small, ethical producers. Whiskey and Mezcals will also be available – well matched to the hot broth and the food offering."
