Cucina Rustica's Italian Residency at The Rose and Crown in Kentish Town

Cucina Rustica, a hyperlocal Italian pop-up kitchen, is coming to The Rose and Crown in Torriano Avenue, NW5 for 3 months from 2nd August 2016, Tuesday - Sunday.  Founded by Giorgio Fabian Honey, it builds on both is Sicilian heritage, and the idea of locally sourced food, to bring something special to Kentish Town.  It'll be serving daily in the pub, from 6pm during the week, and from 2pm at weekends.  Go!

"Having grew up in a Sicilian family, as a little chubby kid running around the kitchens of his families six restaurants, cooking was always going to be like a second nature. With a previous style of original, LA inspired fusion food Giorgio strips back all of his past gimmicks and brings with him a menu that is influenced by classic, rustic Italian/Sicilian street food and small plate modern antipasti.
Here at the Rustic Kitchen we try our hardest to source the most local ingredients to wherever we set up shop.
With our first residency being held in Kentish Town NW5 we are currently sourcing our artisan bread from an independant baker in N10 who also uses beer brewed in N10 as a ferment, freshly made pasta from NW10, vegboxes from NW5, homegrown herbs from NW3 and meat from a local butcher in NW5."

When - Tues - Sun for 3 months from 2nd August 2016
Tuesday - Friday 6pm - 10pm
Saturday - Sunday 2pm - 10pm

Where - The Rose & Crown, 71-73 Torriano Ave, NW5 2SG
