OktoberFest East is a two week celebration of Germany beer and food, taking place at OvalSpace in Bethnal Green, E2. Open Wednesday to Saturday from 28th September to 9th October, there will be German beer, Bavarian food, tents, big wooden tables, DJs, and much more. Tickets range from £15 (entry only) to £75 (3 course meal and unlimited beer) - it all sounds great!
"Come celebrate the wonders of Oktoberfest East – the coolest and most authentic London Oktoberfest. We’ll be pouring litres of real Oktoberfest bier, scoffing a Bavarian feast from the Art of Dining and dancing to Hackney Colliery Band and Oval Space DJs. All of this in our wonderful Alpine hall, artfully bringing to life the amazing Oktoberfest tents.
Journey with us to our Bavarian wonderland; at this London Oktoberfest there will be fun, games and music from our festival team, plus plenty of big wooden tables for you to eat, drink, laugh and thoroughly enjoy yourself. We’ll have free goodies and plenty of merchandise to buy, so you can really get into the experience."

Note - Not 'Oval' in South London. Nowhere near!
