Hailed by Yotam Ottolenghi as ‘ the new champion of Middle Eastern food’, Bethany Kehdy is hosting a one week pop-up at Jago Restaurant in Hanbury Street, E1, from Monday 7th to Friday 11th November 2016. She will be serving a Middle Eastern five course feast for just £35.00 per person - including Charred lamb chops with maftoul, preserved za'atar & lemon pesto - full menu here. Don't miss this chance to catch a future star on the way up!
Bethany will be cooking recipes from her award-winning book ‘The Jewelled Kitchen’. Taking inspiration from the flavours of her childhood and the recipes of her grandmother and aunties. Bethany’s modern take on traditional Levantine dishes has led none other than Yotam Ottolenghi to describe her as ‘ the new champion of Middle Eastern food’.
The Middle Eastern feast will include dishes like Bethany’s sour cherry kebab nests, whipped hummus with duck awarma and her tamarind & fenugreek mackerel khoresht. In keeping with the theme and to add to the exotic taste sensations, a host of Lebanese wines and Middle Eastern inspired cocktails will be served, including Bethany’s famous Arak Bloody Mary with Za’Atar and Mulberry Bellini."
