Oishi Don, who serve Japanese comfort food, like their Donburi rice bowl (see pic) are taking over the kitchen at the *new pub* The Tavern on The Hill at 318 Higham Hill Rd, Walthamstow, E17 5RG (nearest tube - Blackhorse Road). The pub is being run by the Wild Card Brewery team, so expect lots of great beers to go with your food. They will be open every day from 12th April - and they are doing Sunday roasts too!
