Regular organisers Wonder Hill are back in Tooting at the Tram & Social on the last weekend of September for a tea party with a twist. Plus, they're looking for new traders - see details below.
"After a really fabulous Summer Festival Event at Tooting Tram and Social club we are very proud to announce that we have some more dates planned at this venue. Our footfall was brilliant, the comments made just so lovely and the flash mob 50s swing dancing and live music was a real hit too so we aim to bring to each of our up-coming events, something different and special for all to get involved in as we plan to theme each event.
As with every event we will be bringing a different selection of traders on both days as well as different entertainment. A selection of 30 stalls of some of the UK's finest designer makers, artists, vintage collectors and crafters will grace us with their lovely creations! We will have a Vintage Tea Parlour and cut price cocktails along with live music and entertainment throughout the weekend.
We are always looking for new traders - primarily designer makers, bread bakers, jam/chutney makers, confectionery/biscuit makers but we would love to hear from anyone that might like to join in our quest to share smiles and introduce people to a more fun and ethical shopping experience.
Dont forget, we were set up as a platform for local designer makers, crafters and artists to have a warm and friendly environment to showcase and sell their wares and do ask that everything is handmade in the UK. Due to our ethical standpoint we also include vintage and upcycled items. So please help support handmade and ethical items and enjoy our alternative to high street shopping, all created with care, just for you!"
