The London Beer Hunt, Starting at Old Street Station

From Saturday 9th to Saturday 16th August you can take part in a special treasure hunt through some of London's best craft beer bars, between Old Street and Bethnal Green (I think).  Go to a bar, have a beer, solve a clue, go to the next bar.  There will be a 'unique reward' for the first 100 to complete it, so I'm guessing that it's not more than 10 bars.  Sign up here

"Online beer retailer and brewery Honest Brew has teamed up with Will Hawkes, author of Craft Beer London, to create the inaugural London Beer Hunt. Taking place from 9 - 16 August as part of London Beer City, the London Beer Hunt will see participants solving clues that lead them through some of London’s best craft beer bars.
Participants sign up at to receive clues and a map. Beginning at Old Street Station and working East, each clue solved will lead participants to the next bar in the journey. Treasure hunters can do the challenge at any time over the week and the final destination holds a unique reward for the first 100 participants to complete it.
Honest Brew founder, Andrew Reeve said “As avid craft beer fans we wanted to share some of our favourite beers and bars for others to discover. The London Beer Hunt is the perfect way to work your way through some of London’s best craft beer bars and sample some local brews.”
Will Hawkes of Craft Beer London said “The London Beer Hunt is a great way of discovering the best beer in one of London's most exciting neighbourhoods. I'll certainly be joining the Hunt - and probably on more than one occasion, too."
