For five Saturdays - from 19th September to 17th October - chef Marcelo Henriquez's ONA Chilean restaurant is popping up at 15 Whitcomb Street, near to Trafalgar Square. £39 gets you a five course menu, with Chilean music, and there will be Chilean wine to buy too. Go and try the delights of Chilean cusine!
"ONA’s five-course food and drink menu – entirely hand-crafted from the bread to the cheese - travels the length and breadth of Chile,
showing the diversity of its produce and cuisine
Dining is set against a backdrop of monochromatic artwork, inspired by the indigenous Ona people, projections and a soundscape of Chilean music.
Unsurprisingly, Chilean wine will be a feature!
Santiago-born Chef Director, Marcelo Henriquez, has worked in some of the most exclusive private dining rooms across Europe and America, and for concierge services such as Quintessentially. He was inspired to create ONA in order to introduce Chilean food to the British table, but with a truly distinctive modern slant. After fifteen years of living and working in France, Italy and Spain, as well as stints in LA and Berlin, Marcelo has developed a lively and deceptively simple aesthetic, inspired by the roots of Mediterranean cultures, focused on freshness and vibrancy to deliver his inspiriting plates."
