CLAW, who serve great crab-based dishes, are popping up at The Hat & Tun in Clerkenwell (just round the corner from Clerkenwell Road and Farringdon Station) for six days, serving Weds - Fri evenings from 15h - 24th June 2016. Go for the amazing Devonshire crab burger, or KFC (Kimchi-Fried softshell Crab), or even their Steak and Verde, or Mac & Cheese. Go!
"Bringing a taste of the Devon coast to the big city, street food vendor CLAW is popping up at The Hat and Tun in Farringdon for two weeks in June, serving up a range of bespoke crab dishes and seafood delights made fresh to order.
Taking residence in The Hat and Tun, CLAW will serve signature seafood options between 5:30pm – 9pm from Wednesday 15th - Friday 17th June and the following week, Wednesday 22nd – Friday 24th June.
After discovering that Britain exports approximately 80% of its crab to the rest of Europe, founder of CLAW and Virgin Foodpreneur 2015 winner, Fabian Clark, first launched the street food business in February 2015 in a bid to bring crab back to British plates. Sourcing traceable, sustainable and fresh crab from Start Bay in Devon, CLAW is now a regular across all the KERB markets and has had various residencies in London."
