The Waverley Arms in Ivydale Road, SE15 are keeping up their run of Thursday night takeovers with a new series from local street food traders Lion City Kitchen, headed by Dulwich-based Sinaporean Sofia. They'll be serving every Thursday evening in September and October 2016.
"Lion City Kitchen grew out of Lion City Supper Club. That initial idea grew out of an intense homesickness and longing for the food I grew up with. The Singaporean hawker centre is home to some of the tastiest, and in my opinion, most sophisticated meals around.
This is at the heart of my street food and is what I want to bring to the London food scene: a no-nonsense, no-compromise approach with big, bold flavours."
