Having popped up over the years at different events and one-night-onlys (including a Burger Monday), the excellent Blanch and Shock have announced a new residency at The Endurance in Berwick Street where they will cook for most of August, including 4 ticket-only Saturday night dinners.
"After four years of cooking in tents, warehouses, offices, fields and trucks, we have found a temporary home at The Endurance on Berwick Street in Soho. For the month of August, we will be cooking small plates for lunch, revisiting and simplifying dishes we have made over the years. On Saturday nights, we will hold ticketed dinners consisting of longer tasting menus, new dishes and collaborations with guest chefs and producers. We will also be cooking a small menu of snacks at the bar
As ever, we will source the best seasonal ingredients possible, with meat and vegetables from small scale producers, sustainable fish and wild foods. Our menus will change throughout the month as the summer's ingredients change.
The dinners on saturday nights will be inspired by foods from the four compass points. The calendar and guest chefs are as follows.
August 11th - The North- Blanch & Shock
August 19th - The East - Andrew Stellitano
August 26th - The South - David Boycott
September 1st - The West - Blanch & Shock
