Papilles Pop-up Wine Bar in City Road near Old Street


This November & December Papilles at The Brew cafe in City Road will be turning into a pop-up wine bar from 5pm - 11pm Monday-Friday.  There will be wine, cheese, charcuterie and more, with wines available by the glass or the bottle, to drink in, or to take away.

"For one month only we open our doors to Tuesday 24 November, 6pm-11pm, at 163 City Road in Old Street.

At least 50% of wine selections will be available by the glass and by the 500ml carafe, allowing customers to experiment with wines of the moment at an excellent value for money price!
Wines by the glass will available in tasting flights of three or five wines 50ml each. Papilles house wines start at £15 a bottle or £12 a 500ml carafe. Wines by the glass start at £3 per 125ml glass and £4 per 175ml glass. 
Three of ‪#‎FRAPAS‬ including cheeses sourced from local producer French-Comté in Borough Market, charcuterie ham from Nottingham forest, and crudité served with wine jelly, cornichons, and baguette accompaniments, will be on offer throughout the month.
Wine selections will include Champagne SANGER, an exquisite boutique champagne produced by the students and teachers of the winemaking school in Avize, Château de Chambert, a full bodied matured wine from the Cahors, the birthplace of Malbec, and The Four Graces, a Pinot Blanc from Willamette Valley, California, produced by Laurent Montalieu of Médoc, France among others."
