Hot 4 U's Long Term Residency at The Plough in Homerton High Street

Hot 4 U, the pop-up from chefs Eddy Tejada and Matthew Scott, was started during the March lockdown, creating a weekly takeaway and delivery menu, then progressed to several pop-ups over the summer, and has now found a long term home as a residency at The Plough in Homerton High Street, E9.  Expect great food and cocktails, and even a Sunday Roast (which I am hoping to try very soon).  They are serving Tuesdays to Sundays; booking strongly recommended!

" We are moving to the @theploughe9 for our PERMANENT RESIDENCY to call home. Open from Tuesday to Sunday. This is enormous for us. Planning on slinging out some absolutely mad food weekly and a show stopping Sunday roast EVERY SUNDAY. A la Carte, or 3 courses + 1 hefty shot of whisky for £30. Come play with us. Watch this space for The Euros, Debauched Karaoke Parties and daily changing food menus. BRING YOUR DOGGOS. WELCOME BACK TO THE WORLD. Moro's Piri Piri Pop-up in Autumn Yard, E3

  

Moro has opened a winter pop-up at their studios in Autumn Street, E3, serving piri piri chicken, seafood and lots more from Thursdays to Sundays until 20th December 2020.  I went last Saturday and was impressed by both the venue (they have previously used it as an event space, and for weddings), and - obviously - by the food.  Delicious chicken, seafood, and vegetables, cooked over flames in their kitchen.  

It's a bit out of the way, essentially in a trading estate near to the A12, but it's well worth the trip! 

"Sam Clark and the team at Moro and Morito are hosting our first pop-up in Hackney Wick - opening from tomorrow! Piri piri chicken and squid are at the heart of the menu, grilled over an open fire on the terrace of our tiny new space in Hackney Wick.

No reservations, first come, first served. Take away available."
