Malaysian by May's Chinese New Year Feasts in Holloway N7

Malaysian by May is hosting three traditional Malaysian style Chinese New Year feasts in Hornsey, N7 this February to welcome in the Year of the Goat.  Wednesday 18th has sold out already, but Sunday 22nd and Monday 23rd are still booking.

"We are hosting a couple of Chinese New Year Feasts in January and February with an 8 course feast. On the menu will be everyone's favourite Malaysian New Year's raw fish salad, Yee Sang.  Along with that will be a few other favourite Malaysian dishes to complement the salad. 
As usual, 8 courses of totally authentic Malaysian food. served in a friendly and convivial atmosphere."

Mama Wang's Kitchen's 2015 Chinese New Year Celebration in N7

Frequent popper-uppers Mama Wang's Kitchen is hosting a special Chinese New Year celebration in Hornsey N7 on Thursday 19th February, full of tradtional family recipes with a contempory twist, to welcome the Year of the Goat in with style.  Plus there will be a Chinese cookery hamper to be won by one lucky diner.

"As the biggest holiday in China, this is one celebration you won't want to miss. For the Year of the Sheep, Mama Wang’s Kitchen will be taking you on a gastronomic trip inspired by recipes from regions rarely known outside of China in a banquet-style, six-course dinner at the heart of London. 
This supper club will feature a collection of traditional Chinese New Year dishes and family recipes with a bit of a contemporary twist - Think Mapo Tofu with slow-cooked beef, hand-pulled noodles with your Dapan Chicken and hand-folded dumplings with juicy lamb. This party will give you a taste as well as a feel for what it's like to bring in the New Years, Chinese style!
One lucky winner will also win a Chinese cookery hamper at the end of the night as each guest will be entered into a prize draw. There will be a bar with a specially curated drinks menu as well as complimentary tea and festive nibbles. This is one New Year's party you won't want to miss!"
