The Rooftop Film Club has announced a new programme of open air screenings at Kensington Roof Gardens. Films are shown on a big screen, and the audience is given wireless headphones for the sound. Tickets include a glass of Champagne or Peroni (soft drinks available) and a freshly prepared hot snack grilled on the outdoor coal fire barbecue, and there is butler service throughout the films.

"Rooftop Film Club and The Roof Gardens are back to help beat those January blues by showcasing four days of classic, cult and recent films in the exclusive marquee situated 100ft above Kensington High Street tucked away in the tranquil setting of 1.5 acres of themed gardens. Yes, on a rooftop but indoors away from the winter cold! Now, we're talking!
Film lovers will be treated to a cinematic experience like no other as they can lounge on comfy chairs and sofas watching their favourite movies. Rooftop film club will host its first screening on Monday 7th January with the cult fantasy classic ‘Labyrinth’ which was produced by George Lucas starring Jennifer Connelly and the legendary David Bowie. Following this is the classic American romantic film ‘Casablanca’ where guests can watch Humphrey Bogart’s struggle as he is torn between love and virtue. Following this the classics keep on coming with 'The Goonies', 'Breakfast at Tiffany's', 'Drive', 'The Artist', 'Top Gun' and 'Back to the Future'. Ooh, all of a sudden it feels like summer again!
And best of all...wait for it...all tickets include a glass of Champagne or Peroni (soft drinks available) with a freshly prepared hot snack of cheeseburger or Cumberland hotdog (a vegetarian option will also be available) grilled on the outdoor coal fire barbecue. A butler service will also be offered throughout the movie so guests can simply order any further drinks from the comfort of their own seat. Ooh la la!"
