Asma Khan's Darjeeling Express is taking over food duties at The Sun & 13 Cantons in Soho from Monday 24th February from the previous pop-up Pepe's Kitchen. Asma will be offering fine traditional Indian food, for lunch and dinner, and also bar snacks. Perfect drinking food!
"I will be serving traditional Calcutta dishes like Bengali Prawn and Fish Curry in coconut milk. The traditional Mughlai dish- Chicken Chaap and paratha
The vegetarian lunch options are Puri and Aloo Dam (Bengali five spices with potatoes) and black chickpea curry. The price ranges from £8.50 to £6.50. The menu will be changed every week.
Early evening bookings for dinner are available from Monday to Wednesday. Bar snacks are available all evenings till 8pm. Masala fries with Chilli dressing, Spiced chicken drumstick Kabab, Aubergine and Spinach fritters and Street food Chaat on certain days. The price ranges from £2.75 to £4.99."
