They'll be serving at Hopscotch Cafe Bar in Honor Oak, SE23, for Thursday and Friday nights from Friday 28th October to Friday 16th December 2016, with all their classics on the menu, inc Kara-age Chicken, Slow Cooked Pork Belly, and their Katsu Curry. "Renowned Japanese comfort food specialists Fowl Mouths announce a new pop-up at Honor Oak favourite, Hopscotch Cafe Bar in Honor Oak.
With a menu featuring winter warming food including their famous Kara-age chicken - ranked number 4 in the Dojo Apps's Fried Chicken League Table - Fowl Mouths will be feeding the hungry residents of South East London.
Serving comfort food for the soul, Fowl Mouths have been featured in Time Out, Evening Standard, the Daily Mirror and Hot Dinners.
Mouthwatering rice bowls make their debut, topped with treats including Kara-age (twice-fried chicken marinated in garlic, soy sauce, ginger and mirin) with Roasted Garlic and Yuzu Mayo, Slow-cooked Ginger & Sake Pork Belly and vegetarian favourite, Miso Mushrooms.
There will also be steamed Hirata Buns packed with Kara-age Chicken, Slow-cooked Pork Belly or Miso Mushrooms, as well as Kara-age Katsu Curry - made to Fowl Mouths' secret recipe. Only free-range meat is ever used.
Popular local cafe-bar Hopscotch has recently been taken over by a new team keen to showcase great local food and drink."
