Adam Rawson's Residency at The George & Dragon in Fitzrovia

Adam Rawson, winner of The YBF's Chef of the Year in 2015, and both 2015 and 2016's Slider Decider burger competitions, now has a weekday residency at the George & Dragon pub in Cleveland Street, Fitzrovia.  Serving Monday to Friday from noon til 10pm, you can enjoy Adam's amazing burgers and more in the pub - can't wait to try this one!

"This November, The YBFs 2015 “Chef of the Year” Adam Rawson will launch his first extended kitchen residency, at The George & Dragon pub in the heart of Fitzrovia.
Renowned for his international cooking style, Adam’s new popup menu is inspired by his global travels and features his award-winning burgers from the two latest “Slider Decider” competitions, alongside an array of British pub classics each with his original twist.
Available for lunch and dinner from Mondays to Fridays, Adam Rawson’s new kitchen residency at the recently renovated The George & Dragon will offer visitors the chance to enjoy his growing collection of Global Traveller burgers, including full-size versions of his acclaimed burgers from the “Slider Decider” challenge, which he has won the past two years in a row. 2015 winner the Peruvian Pan Con Chicharron (aged beef, crispy pork, aji rocotto ketchup, aji Amarillo mustard and salsa criolla) and 2016’s prized Global Traveller (aged beef, gorgonzola, balsamic onions, pancetta and truffle aioli) will be joined by signature Great British The George & Dragon (aged beef, smoked cheddar, onion pickle, toasted yeast mayonnaise, stout battered onion ring and Branston) and Moroccan-themed vegetarian Aubergine Zaalouk (crispy aubergine, smoked yoghurt, tomato, rose and harissa jam, wild rocket). All of the burgers will come served with proper onion spiced chips, and each month a new special burger reflecting a different country’s culinary heritage will take its turn in the lineup.
Pub guests looking for a lighter bite with their beer or smaller dishes to share can take their pick from a host of British bar snacks with Adam’s innovative touch of global inspiration, such as ‘nduja and rosemary scotch egg, cider braised pork cheeks and gorgonzola baked breaded mussels. There will also be regularly-changing blackboard specials to choose from throughout the Winter residency, promising Adam’s unique interpretation of more hearty British pub favourites."
