Mirey's Restaurant's French Residency at The Cuckoo in N1

Mirey's Restaurant, a collaboration between chefs Gerald Mirey and Ko Ito, is taking over the kitchen at The Cuckoo in Hemingford Road, N1, from 5th January 2017, serving Thursdays to Sundays.  Expect classic French dishes, with the inevitable twist, from the French and Japanese team, available on Thursday to Saturday evenings, and then for brunch on Saturdays and roasts on Sundays.  Sounds spectacularly good!

"Established in October 2016, Mirey's Restaurant is a culinary partnership between Gerald Mirey and Ko Ito.
Gerald is a classically trained French chef born and raised in Normandy, France. Gerald has been cooking delicious French food influenced by the British traditions and ingredients for two decades. Gerald has been working for The Boisdale (a traditional Scottish restaurant), The Garrison (a gastro pub), and most recently at Head Chef at The Narrow (Gordon Ramsay restaurant).
Having moved to the UK almost a decade ago, Ko has developed a penchant for French and British cuisine. Ko was able to harness his new found interest by setting up and running several supper clubs which has allowed him to explore and share the experience.
The combination of the two makes the partnership a very promising culinary experience."
