"On Saturday 15th September we are having our first pop up night: Andalusian Tavern, at Hot Milk Café –1 Maidstone Road N11. That night we will bring to North London some of the most authentic dishes you can find in tapas bars, taverns and restaurants in Seville, Córdoba, Granada or any of the other 5 provinces that are part of Andalucía.
Andalucía is an amazing region, full of history, landscapes and monuments; and all this background and context is reflected on each of the dishes and drinks you can enjoy on that night. I was myself born in Jaén, a province with the largest man-made forest in the world, a mysterious place which claims to keep one of the four Holy Faces.
But do not worry, we won’t serve an eccentric menu in our Andalusian Tavern. What you can expect is dishes from Córdoba, Seville and Jaén, made with humble ingredients, nothing fancy, to make you feel as if you were there, eating as a local. We have a set menu for £20/person that includes 2 tapas, 1 mollete -soft roll sandwich-, dessert and a drink; but you can enjoy our dishes individually alongside a Rebujito cocktail -Sheery & Sprite with fresh mint and lime-, a beer, a glass of wine or any other drink of your choice from Hot Milk’s menu."
