Alter's 3 Month Residency at Counter Culture in Clapham


Alter, fine vegan cooking from chef Andy Hogben, will be popping up at Counter Culture in Clapham for three months starting on 7th January 2020 on Tuesday to Saturday evenings.  Andy's pedigree is first rate, having cooked in Dabbous, Som Saa and Kyms, and his food is delcious.  Counter Culture is a very small space, next to The Dairy on The Pavement in Clapham Common, so this is going to be a hot ticket.

Andy is also cooking wih Rob Howell of Root in Bristol on Thusday 26th January, taking over The Dairy itself for one night.  Tickets for this event are £35, which you can reserve by emailing alessandra@the-dairy.co.uk, or calling 020 7622 4165.

"From the 7th January - 28th March Alter will be taking over. Alter was founded by Andy Hogben (ex Dabbous, Som Saa & Kyms) in response to the paradox of suddenly becoming vegan, and yet instantly feeling frustrated by the vegan food scene, and its wider culture in the UK. Instead, Alter looks at moving vegan food away from substitutes and towards thinking about food in a way that marries up to veganism’s own worldwide sense of perspective and belonging."
