New at Boxpark, and just for one month, is Voodoo Girl, with slogan T-shirts, leggings and more. Mini collections will be added as the run progresses.
"New womenswear label Voodoo Girl launched their debut collection –‘Just a Dream’ in February, which instantly became a hit on ASOS! Think fun and vibrant with a rock and roll edge. Printed tees feature nostalgic ‘Barbie’ and ‘My Little Pony’ prints but with a Voodoo Girl twist, alongside slogan tees and goth print symbols. Other pieces include frayed denim shorts, crop tops, t-shirt maxi dresses and sleeveless hoodies. Pastel colours are offset against fuchsia pink, electric blue and purple in tie dye and acid wash effects.
Voodoo Girl has now been selected by BOXPARK Shoreditch, to showcase their current collection for one month from Saturday 4th May. This exciting joint retail venture will provide the perfect opportunity, to further introduce the brand to a wider audience. Mini drop collections will be injected into the mainline every 4-6 weeks. The newest drop entitled ‘Candy Girls’ launched on 1st May, featuring an array of sweet treats in pastel shades. Giant swirl lollipops, chocolate mini eggs, marshmallows, lovehearts and gum ball prints adorn t-shits, vests and leggings.The second mini drop ‘Rockstar Fantasies’ launches at the end
of May. As the name suggests it is a lot harder with ‘give a fuck’, ‘dead famous’ and ‘death metal’ slogan tees with abrasion holes. Denim sleeveless jackets and frayed shorts are studded, with skull and heartbreak prints. Graphics of tattooed Ariel the Mermaid, cannabis leaves and floral prints are used on tees, vests and leggings."
