"Throughout February affordable luxury London designers Matilda & Quinn and Peponita Shoes will come together to create an exclusive pop-up boutique at 35 South Molton Street. Customers will be able to shop new collections, limited edition styles and for the first time, experience Peponita's walkable heel alongside Matilda & Quinn's multi-scenario dress.
About the brands:
Matilda & Quinn:
London born Sally Hartfield launched "Matilda & Quinn" as the go-to brand for the multi-scenario dress. The brand reinvents classic shapes with a quirky modern twist in unusual textures and rich bursts of colour. It is unsurprising that the brand's demure and stylish dresses have harnessed a loyal following amongst a host of celebrities including BBC Breakfast's Louise Minchin, Lorraine Kelly and Kate Garraway.
Hartfield says “my designs are all about creating a perfect balance between what is wearable and flattering but also stylish and individual.” Central to the brand is it's British ethos and commitment to local production. All Collections are made here in London cementing Matilda & Quinn’s credentials as the ethical, sophisticated and luxurious choice for the modern woman.
Peponita Shoes:
Sigrid Gelati-Meinert created Peponita as a brand dedicated to beautiful block heels you can actually walk in sharing the same ethos of day-to-evening style. Influenced by classic and vintage design, but applying modern patterns, textures and colours. Peponita shoes are made with 2.25" heels. Women no longer have to sacrifice comfort for style. Designed in London and made in Italy, the shoes draw the best from both: the urban chic of London combined with the quality shoe-making tradition of Italy. In Gelati-Meinert's words, the shoes are designed for "free thinking, independent women who appreciate quality, craftsmanship and style" and are named after London locations in the city "I grew-up in and love." Peponita Shoes: keeping working, walking women in heels. A limited edition ballerina completes the range."
