The Porridge Cafe, which was a big hit in Shoreditch earlier this year, is back for one month or so at Terminus Place, Victoria, just outside Victoria Station. It's not less about warm comfort food, with a new menu that includes cold porridge, plus savoury porridge and grain salads for lunch. It's open Monday - Saturday from Thursday 14th.
"Following their hugely successful first pop up in East London the Porridge Café will be popping up again on Thursday 14th May just outside Victoria Station in conjunction with TFL.
The new menu will include three summer breakfast porridges, two summer savoury porridges and two new summer grain salads in the new café.
There will also be a range of chilled porridges which are similar in style to Bircher Muesli along with a range of drinks including fresh juices and smoothies.
The menu will change weekly with a changing special every day.
Customers can try our gluten free oats along with different grain options such as rye, wheat, quinoa, spelt and barley with a variety of different toppings.
The Porridge Café also will have diary free milks such as almond or coconut.
Savoury Porridge and Grain Salad options will be sold at lunchtime. The new salads showcase grains as part of a versatile dish which can be eaten hot or cold any time of year.
Nik Willliamson, founder of the Porridge Café says “we are really excited to open a new pop up in such a central location. We think our summer porridges and grain salads will offer something new for the warmer weather.
The new menu will feature two sizes and prices for the porridges
Open 7.30 am – 5 pm Monday – Friday and on Saturday 10.00 am – 5.00 pm. Closed Sunday.
