'A Kent Annos' Sardianian Dinner in Haggerston

A Kent Annos means 'may you live for 100 years' and it's also the name of a Sardinian supper club in Hackney on Thursday 5th May, to promote the food and wine from Sardiania.  Tickets are just £40, and this pays for a 4 course dinner with wine, with highlights being Culurgiones, a traditional type of ravioli from Sardinia.  Go!

"Cantina Sorres and Sardos Delicatessen present “A `KENT'ANNOS - May you live 100 years"
Come discovering the secret of longevity, join us for a very special Sardinian night experiencing food, wine and music from the healthiest island of the world.
Crystal clear water, white beaches, pink flamingos, but also great culture, ancient traditions and fascinating misteries: this is SARDINIA, the beautiful Italian island.
Sardinians’ diet is particularly rich in proteins and a glass of wine is considered indispensable in Sardinian culture, along with a chunk of sheep’s cheese or goat’s ricotta. Agriculture plays a very important role here and grapes are present mostly in the hilly areas. Additionally, Sardinia produces 80% of all Italian cork!
The Guardian documented at least 371 of Sardinia’s current population have reached the 100 years mark, a corresponding ratio 20 times greater than in the United States.
