Walkers' Pop-up Crisp Sarnie Cafe near London Bridge

Walkers has cottoned onto how much people love making sandwiches out of their crisps, to to help launch a series of new flavours, they're launching a pop-up Crisp Sarnie cafe in Tooley Street, near to London Bridge.  It works a bit like a speakeasy - the cafe is hidden behind a rack of crisps in Chris Peter’s Newsagent at 112/114 Tooley Street - once the secret door opens you can go through to enjoy the crisp sandwiches.  It's open from Thursday to Saturday, 8th - 24th September 2016, and is for over 18s only.  You need a £3 ticket - + 50 booking fee - available here from Friday 2nd September - but there will be limited availability for walk-ins ('Walkers Walk-ins'?).  Anyway, this one's going to be HUGE!

"To launch the new flavours, Walkers is also opening a ‘speakeasy style’ crisp sandwich club, hidden behind a movable crisp shelf in a newsagents in London Bridge. Naturally.
At the elite (and not-so-secret) club, visitors will be able to build their own crisp sandwich from a menu of bread, fillings, limited edition crisp flavours and sauces.
‘Members will then be invited by the club’s Maître’D to sit back and immerse themselves in the sarnie-themed antics, sights and sounds,’ apparently. We’re not sure what that means. But, basically, you’ll be able to eat loads of sandwiches and crisps and talk with like-minded people about sandwiches and crisps. Which sounds like a pretty way to spend an afternoon.
The Walkers Crisp Sarnie Club will be open from September 8, for three weeks, from Thursday to Saturday.
