To help celebrate this year's Bailey's Prize for Fiction, featuring longlisted books like Stay With Me, Ayobami Adebayo, The Power by Naomi Alderman, and The Lesser Bohemians by Eimear McBride, Bailey's is opening a pop-up bar in the basement of Waterstones bookshop at the bottom end of Tottenham Court Road.  It'll be open from Monday 3rd to Friday 7th April, and feature lunchtime and evening events, including readings, and cocktail making classes.

"On April 3rd the Book Bar will open its doors to shine a spotlight on the Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction 2017 shortlist and offer a series of inspiring events with writers including Sara Pascoe, Grace Dent, Lisa McInerney, Gemma Cairney, Val McDermid, Katy Brand, Louise Doughty and Kate Mosse.
At lunchtime, actors Tori Allen-Martin and James Rastall will bring each of the six shortlisted novels to life with exclusive readings. Each evening, the bar will come to life with book events featuring some of the UK’s most inspirational women and bestselling novelists.
