Yucatán's Mexican Kitchen Residency at The Rose & Crown in NW5

Yucatán, who serve food from the South of Mexico, have taken over the kitchen at The Rose & Crown in Torriano Avenue, Kentish Town, serving Wednesdays to Sundays.  Expect tasty signature dishes like their Panuchos – fried tortillas stuffed with refried beans, Chilaquiles, strips of fried tortillas simmered in red or green salsas, alongside tacos (Mmmmm- Tacos!).  Fresh flavours for the spring, but with enough spice to warm you up!

“The food of the Yucatán is unique and very different to that of the rest of Mexico.  As the region has a tropical climate, the food that grows in the region is unlike that found in the North or Central areas of the country.  Our Pork al Pastor is roasted with Pineapple, to give a really sweet and sour flavour and our Mango and Habanero Salsa is deliciously spicy, but also really fresh and light.
Expect Panuchos – fried tortillas stuffed with refried beans, Chilaquiles, strips of fried tortillas simmered in red or green salsas, alongside tacos.  They will also be serving a selection of sorbets, including Watermelon and Habanero, as well as a range of dips and sides from the Yucatán Peninsula, so the menu will feel fresh for Spring."
